Winter Fieldfares
During the winter months cold snowy weather pushed large numbers of Fieldfare and Redwings into the local orchards. Many birds came into the gardens apple trees making the most of the bountiful supply of apples & bird seed provided. Been a great year for wintering Blackcaps & Firecrest in the garden with large numbers of Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch and several Siskins coming to the garden feeding station.
