Whinchat on patch
Fantastic find of a juvenile Whinchat on patch this evening. he bird was present on fenceline rear of farm on track towards the river ( the usual autumn location I've seen them previously). 1st of the Autumn and only 5th site record. Also of note on patch, 4 Whitethroat, 2 Willow Warbler, 2 Stonechat (pair), 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk and good passage of Swifts and Swallows
